“ A typical Sam Smiths pub. Wood panelling and stained glass windows. We went there to play darts, very enjoyable. The service was excellent and they had the full range of their beer, including Old Brewery and Alpine. Prices are reasonable for the area. In summary one of the better Sam Smith's in town. ”
“ I’ve been here a few times, always on weekend afternoons. Like all Sam Smith pubs, the beer is good. This time, we went for the Taddy’s Lager and the Alpine, which was on discount. I love Taddy’s, it’s fresh, crisp, and a unique lager. The pub itself has a nice vibe..calm and relaxed, with a fire going and people having intimate conversations in some areas. There were quite a few tourists too, which is understandable for the location, but some seemed a little lost, making it feel more like an 'attraction' than a pub at times. That also might be a reason why the bartender was a little grumpy. That might take away from the atmosphere, but I imagine the crowd is different on a weekday evening. That said, I’d absolutely keep coming here, it beats all the other pubs in the area. ”
“ This pub has genuine character and Sam Smiths products are always great. My only issue is the drinks prices which seem higher than other pubs in the area. Unfortunately this meant that we only stayed for one drink and moved on, otherwise it would have been a great place to settle and make an evening of it. ”

Lovely decorated with some sort of stained glass windows, full of dark brown wooden furnitures, walls and beams, it is a perfect place to have a pint (or two) of their Sam Smith brewery ales and ciders. Kitchen was closed at the time we arrived so we can't tell much about it. Bar guy was nice and friendly. ”
